B&B and walking holidays in the heart of Wiltshire -
Experienced holidaymakers and walkers ourselves, we offer you all the elements that
make up a great walking holiday or short break. We know the area and can advise you
on what sort of walking is available to you. Whether you wish to walk 2 miles or
20, we will recommend walks and loan you maps and directions. We tailor holidays
to suit individuals and are always happy to discuss your personal requirements by
phone or email. This area is not just great for walking, there are plenty of other
things to see and do if you fancy a change. Should you wish to walk The White Horse
Trail, there are several options available -
Our walking holiday prices are only a little more expensive than for standard B&B and include bed & breakfast and the use of facilities as described throughout the website. These include the guest lounge, gallery, gardens & hot tub, and afternoon tea and cake served in the guest lounge or garden on your return from your walk. Maps and directions are available for you to borrow and guests can also request walks tailored to their specific requirements at no extra charge. For example, if you want to walk several 20 mile walks, let us know in advance and we’ll make sure we have enough varied walks for you. There is a sofa bed in the guest lounge so this could also be made available as a bedroom for larger groups. You can see a chart detailing our walking holiday prices here.
These prices are for standard walking holidays and do not include any evening meals
or packed lunches. Occasional evening meals and/or packed lunches can be provided
on request for an additional charge. We ask only for the first night’s accommodation
to be paid in advance. This is £79 or £82 for two people and £45 -
You are welcome to book online but please let us know that you are booking a walking holiday rather than standard B&B. It is helpful to have a chat, either by phone or by email, about your requirements so we can tailor your walking holiday to suit you personally.
